Gathering Center for Xequistel community is inaugurated

The construction of a small gathering center promises a passage in the development that the citizens of Xequistel in the town of San Antonio Palopó in Sololá have longed for, which will allow them to produce their products in a better way. AGIL Foundation through the Quality Insurance and Development of Small Companies (ACDPE) with the endorsement of USAID, supports the Xequistel Farmer's Association (ADAX) since April 2009 providing training in Good Agricultural Practices, construction materials and legal counseling in the formation of the organization. ADAX´s 15 members who work in the brocoli, bean, grain and sweet pea crop have joined forces to build this center that was inaugurated on October 21st 2009.
