AGIL Foundation has taken the iniciative to reunite professionals, producers, exporters, distribuiters, support organizations, universities and the gobermental sector, who have a relationship with production and international product commerce and the desire to bring their experience through their involvement in the creation of National Technical Workgroups GTTN, with the purpouse to aquire the following objectives:

Integrate the Guatemalan National Technical Workgroup, with the participation of professionals, producers, exporters and non traditional vegetable product managers, that will be credited before the secretary of GLOBALGAP in Colonia, Germany.

Create a National Quality Assurance System in vegetable export products based in the Agricultural Good Practice rules that benefits producers and national entreprenuers with aplicable norms in our country that are internationally recognized.

Develop before FoodPLUS, a uniform process of the created norm, with the GLOBALGAP system certification, in any of the two bechmarking categories: as a total equivalent norm or by an approved modified verifying list (LVMA), that benefits a national productive sector when they develop the certification of local producers by an audit instrument based in aplicable conditions in Guatemala.

Improve the conditions of agricultural production in our country, implementing good agricultural practices under a private system and internationa credibility, to improve our actual conditions to access markets.
